How It Works
Ear piercing is performed using Blomdahl system designed in Sweden.
We use medical plastic earrings that contain zero nickel, so there is no allergen exposure – in fact they’re the only ear piercing earring in the world with 0% nickel! Only 2% of people worldwide are born with nickel allergy, but this jumps to 25% if pierced with an earring containing nickel.
Medical-grade titanium earrings are also available if requested in advance.
Other benefits to Blomdahl system:
- Posts slightly longer than traditional earrings, so air can circulate to facilitate healing.
- Earring backs are fixed at the tip of the post, which also keeps air circulating.
- The piercing system is one-time use, pre-loaded and disposable, so the procedure is completely sterile.
